Editorial policy

Four rules cover everything published here.

Sources are read before they are cited. Every external claim traces to a document we opened and read in full, listed with its read date on the sources page. The sentence is written from the source; we never go looking for a source that fits a sentence already written.

Specifications are data, not adjectives. Sizes, piece counts and fabrics are reproduced as the product publishes them. "Microfibre" does not become "silk-touch luxury weave" on the way to this page.

No invented people and no invented reviews. There are no testimonials on this site, no fictional design team and no founding legend. Ratings shown are pooled figures with their counts.

Corrections are public. When a reader shows us a wrong figure we fix the page, and the fix ships with the next dated update. Mail about errors is answered first.
